UPDATE-Sheriff Arrests 3 Men for Home Invasion
Update: A 4th suspect was arrested and charged last night with 2 counts of Home Invasion for the incident which occurred early Sunday morning in unincorporated Villa Park. Artur L Pawlina (dob/05/23/86) of the 1S200 block of Danby St., Villa Park is currently in the DuPage County Jail and he is expected to be in bond court this morning.
Sheriff John E. Zaruba announced today the arrest 3 male suspects allegedly who forced their way into a residence in unincorporated Villa Park this past weekend.
Andrew Cotton (dob 02/05/89) of the 300 block of Scott Ave., Glen Ellyn, Ryan Berry (dob/12/09/88) of the 300 block of Scott Ave., Glen Ellyn and Anthony Nutoni (dob 02/01/89) of the 600 block of Edgewood St., Lombard have all been charged with 2 counts of Home Invasion while armed which is a class x felony.
Early Sunday morning the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call for 3 armed men who forced their way into a residence in unincorporated Villa Park. After a physical altercation the 3 suspects fled the residence. After a short investigation, Sheriff’s Detectives identified and arrested the 3 individuals responsible for the home invasion.
Berry and Nutoni are currently being held in the DuPage County Jail. Cotton is currently receiving treatment for injuries received during the incident. Berry and Nutoni will be in bond court this morning.
The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office reminds readers that any charges indicated in this document are merely accusations, and the listed defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
