Sheriff Zaruba awarded Professional of the Year Award
DuPage County Sheriff John E. Zaruba was awarded with the 2013 Court Security Professional of the Year award by the National Sheriffs’ Association. He was presented with this honor on February 2nd at the National Sheriffs Association Annual Winter Conference in Washington DC.

“Our court houses must provide a safe and secure setting for the public, and for those who work there,” Sheriff Zaruba stated. “Maintaining the developing needs of the courts and staying in the forefront in the field of court safety and security is vital in safeguarding our courthouses and the people in them,” he stated.
Since before John E. Zaruba was elected Sheriff in 1997, he made improving Court Security one of his priorities.
