DuPage County Sheriff John Zaruba in collaboration with Principal Sandra Coughlin from Glenbard South High School will be holding a forum to talk to parents and teens in the community regarding Heroin.
Parents, students and members of the community are encouraged to attend this important discussion. The program will begin at 7 p.m. April 24 in the auditorium at Glenbard South, 23W200 Butterfield Road in Glen Ellyn. Along with Sheriff Zaruba, other guest speakers will include Glen Ellyn Police Chief Phil Norton, DuPage County States Attorney Robert Berlin, DuPage County Coroner Dr. Rich Jorgensen, speakers from the Community and the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
“With the end of the school year quickly approaching, we want parents to be informed of the potential dangers that your teens face. Heroin use has become a concern in DuPage County and across the United States and The Sheriff’s Office is demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the community by its multifaceted approach to deal with Heroin in DuPage County through interdiction, education and enforcement,” Sheriff Zaruba said.
