Sheriff Arrests Lombard Man for Residential Burglary

 Sheriff John Zaruba announced the arrest of a Lombard man after he burglarized a residence in unincorporated Lombard last night. 

Sabastiano Ceraulo (dob/06/12/94) of the 21w500 block of North Ave, Lombard has been charged with 1 count of Residential Burglary which is class 1 felony, 1 count use of a Credit/ Debit Card which is a class 4 felony and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia which is a misdemeanor.   

The Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible residential burglary that had just occurred. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the residence to discover that the victim’s credit card had been taken and recently used at a business nearby. While checking the area, deputies located an individual matching the description of the suspect. Ceraulo was found in possession of the victim’s credit cards and items he has purchased with the credit card. 

Ceraulo is being held in the DuPage County Jail and his bond has been set at $100,000. 

The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office reminds readers that any charges indicated in this document are merely accusations, and the listed defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
