Sheriff Charges Carol stream Man for Aggravated Robbery
Sheriff John Zaruba announced the charges of a Carol Stream man for robbing the 7-Eleven in unincorporated Glen Ellyn on December 20
William D. Kendrick (dob/05/17/91) of the 300 block of Klein Creek Ct., Carol Stream has been charged with 1 count of Aggravated Robbery which is a class 1 felony.
The Sheriff's Office investigated a report of an armed robbery that occurred at the 7-Eleven in unincorporated Glen Ellyn at approximately 12:30 am on December 20th. It is alleged that Kendrick, robbed the store clerk at the 7-Eleven located on Park Blvd and fled the area. Kendrick was arrested on December 21
by Romeoville Police Department for a similar incident and Sheriff's detectives were able to identify him as the suspect in the Glen Ellyn robbery.
Kendrick is currently being held in the Will County Jail on robbery charges.
